Kelp extract -👑🌊- Treasure of the sea
📚 Ecklonia maxima (commonly known as sea bamboo) is a species of kelp, typically found along the southern Atlantic coast of Africa.
🩺 Kelp extracts were used as a source of iodine in the Western Cape traditional medicine.
🚜 The species has high economic importance as it is harvested and used as a food additive (source of alginates) and agricultural supplement.
🌿 Kelp extract is also a rich source of vitamins, proteins, amino acids, organic acids, growth hormones, betaines, phytohormones, polysaccharides, and mineral compounds.
🎯 Benefits of application include:
✔️ improvement of nutrition and regulation of phytohormonal balance,
✔️ promotion of root vigour and stabilization of soil microbiome,
✔️ enhancement of natural plant mechanisms of oxidative stress protection,
✔️ reduction of crop stress exposure and acceleration of its recovery,
✔️ improvement of plant resistance against pathogens and diseases.
➡️ UKELP is a liquid kelp suspension based on Ecklonia Maxima obtained from the clean, cold waters off the Atlantic Coast of Southern Africa.
